Joe: “We want to overlay motion graphics over a series of interviews we’re going to do with the president.”
Me: “The president of what?”
Joe: “America. President Barack Obama.”
That was how the conversation started when I spoke with Joe Posner, head of video production at Vox. We had two weeks, and we didn’t know exactly what Mr. Obama would say. It was a rush.
